Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you use Ecites Solutions services and the Ecites Konnect platform.
Effective 25th September 2026 · Version 1.01. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an Ecites Konnect account or using Ecites Solutions services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and any policies referenced within them. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the services.
2. Account Registration
You must provide accurate, current information when creating your account and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity carried out under your account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Ecites Konnect to send unsolicited, unlawful, fraudulent or abusive messages, or to attempt to circumvent rate limits, security controls or access restrictions. You must have your recipients' consent before messaging them.
4. WhatsApp, SMS and Email Messaging
Messages sent through WhatsApp must also comply with the WhatsApp Business Terms of Service and the WhatsApp Business and Commerce Policies. We may suspend messaging that breaches these policies or that recipients report as unwanted.
5. API Usage and Rate Limits
API access is provided for integration with your own systems. We may apply rate limits, throttle or suspend access to protect platform stability and other users.
6. Payments, Airtime and Disbursements
Wallet top-ups, airtime, data bundles and bulk disbursements are processed through licensed third-party providers. You are responsible for the accuracy of recipient details and amounts you submit.
7. Data Protection and Privacy
We process the information you provide to operate your account and deliver messages on your behalf, in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and our Privacy Policy. Do not submit data you are not authorised to share.
8. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and factors outside our control may affect availability.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the platform or pose a security risk to other users.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Ecites Konnect after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
