What is the WhatsApp Business API?
It is Meta's official way for businesses to send WhatsApp messages at scale from their own number, instead of typing them one by one in the WhatsApp Business app.
Why do messages need approved templates?
WhatsApp only lets businesses start conversations with templates Meta has approved, which protects customers from spam. Replies within 24 hours can be free text.
How much does a WhatsApp message cost?

Can I use my existing business number?
Yes, as long as it can receive an SMS or call to verify it. A number used on the WhatsApp app has to be moved to the API.
